As a college student, saving money is one of the most important skills you can learn in order to avoid stress. You should make a list of priorities to budget your money fiscally. Tuition should be at the top of your list. Yes, you could use student loans to your advantage, and yes you can pay off the loans in the future; however, if you budget your money and are able to pay for your tuition up front, you will have less expenses later. Student loans can accumulate extra fees which will add to your stress.  Budgeting for school as well as food and gas expenses can use up a lot of income. You can save a portion of your income for miscellaneous purchases. By budgeting your money into categories, you are ensured that you are able to pay off your bills and know how much money you have in your possession at all times. You will have a sense of relief if you budget your money and keep track of your income.
