Last Thursday evening, Adam Hammer and Nathan Edwards hosted an Acoustic Concert in the Trojan Center Underground. Adam Hammer, visiting from Minnesota, played several tracks portraying his unique style of “tattooed folk” music. The songs he played were as unique as his style having titles like Underwater Love Song, New Day, Meet Me in Memphis and Ballad of Lucy.

Adam writes his own music, and had unique stories to go along with many of the songs he played on Thursday night. The Ballad of Lucy, for example, originally started as a song his son asked him to write about their pet cat, and Underwater Love Song was written as part of a song writing challenge he hosts monthly.

After the concert, Hammer announced that he is currently working on a new album.
