In the first six minutes of the game the Trojans held the Lions to one-shot attempt. The Trojans kept their foot on the pedal as they extended their lead at halftime with a score of 38-24.

In the second half DSU kept their offense going as kept a 12-point lead the rest of the second half. They outscored the Lions 46-31 in the second half to secure this victory.

“It is always good to have those types of games where everyone gets in and there isn’t a lot of pressure.” Said Stephen Klekas

Every player for DSU scored in the game Friday night. Ducky Stewart led the team with 14 points. Bean and Adams both added 11 for the Trojans. Keith Lee had 10 points off the bench and Cameron Krump and Yusef Gray both had nine points as well. Krump also added nine boards. The difference that stood out in this game was the Trojans scored 21 points off of turnovers compared to the Lions four points.

Back on January 17th the Trojans were blown out by Sioux Falls, which was their third loss in a row before this current three game-winning streak.

“The Sioux Falls game kind of woke us up, we don’t to play like that again…practices have been solid and we are getting better each day so that keeps coach Garner happy.” Said Klekas
