Nanocon begins at the end of the week, providing a multitude of exciting things to do. Whether this is your first time going, or you’re a seasoned veteran, it’s always good to check out everything that the convention has to offer. Here’s some things you don’t want to miss out on while you’re there.

1. The Guest Speakers

We have some great speakers that will give a variety of intriguing speeches on Thursday the 9th, including Denis Dyack, the former president of Silicon Knights and director of award winning games such as Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem.

2. Vendors

The vendors and artists always have a variety of different items to satisfy your needs, whether it be games, books/comics, and art both official and fan-made.

3. Tons of Games to Play

Throughout the weekend, there will be many ongoing games to play with others. These cater to all types of gamers, ranging anywhere from Persona to Don’t Starve, to classic tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons.

4. Demo New Games by DSU Students

The Game 333/444 student are demonstrating the games that they made in the course this semester like Florida Man and Stormbreakers.

5. Meet New Friends

Whether you’re playing a multiplayer game or admiring the same art print, Nanocon is a great way to meet people both from DSU and the surrounding communities.
