The Trojan baseball team took on Valley City State at Flynn Field for four games over the last weekend to open the NSAA regular season. As the trend has been so far this season, rain caused scheduling issues over the weekend, but the Trojans still managed to play all four games. The Trojans split both series with the VCSU Vikings to start out the conference season with a record of 2-2. A notable performance of the first game was Mason Macaluso’s walk-off 3-run home run that led the Trojans to a win of 9-7. The Trojans now hold a 9-9 overall record for the season.

The Trojans are set for another conference matchup with Waldorf University in Forest City, IA April 2-3. Their next home game is scheduled for April 13 against Dordt University.
