2013 DSU Homecoming Royalty

Homecoming week officially kicked off this past Monday night with the crowning of the 2013 DSU Homecoming King and Queen at the Dakota Prairie Playhouse.  Wayne Pauli and Sandra Champion acted as the “Masters of Ceremony” for the event. They kept the audience entertained by asking trivia questions and introducing all of the candidates. The candidates for King were Lucas Dolan (College Against Cancer), Matt Groff (PE & Coaching Club), Mike Kapperman (Newman Club), Walker Ruhd (GO! Leaders), Josh Rundell (Student Activities Board), and Jordan Stewart (Student Associate Senate).  The candidates for Queen were Jeni Habeger (PBL Business Club), Audrey Hupf (Newman Club), Sara Irvine (Student Associate Senate), Annalesha Kalis (College against Cancer), Katy Pillar (Delta Mu Delta), and Kayla Stolenburg (Student Activities Board).  The 2012 Homecoming King and Queen, John Nielsen and Kelsey Feltman, returned to pass the torch and crown to the new DSU Homecoming Royalty. Senior Jordan Stewart and Sophomore Kayla Stolenburg were selected as the DSU Homecoming King and Queen for 2013.
