Later that evening, Grocery Bag Bingo brought students together for a night of laughter and friendly competition. The event started with traditional bingo as well as variations like frame, smiley face, blackout and so on. Winners walked away with snacks and $10 gift cards to the Sunshine Store, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening. The room buzzed with energy as students cheered each other on, eagerly waiting to shout “Bingo!”

Tuesday, February 11 – Plushies and Crafts

The second day began with Stuff an Emoji, where students lined up to pick their favorite emoji plushies. The excitement could be felt in the air as students eagerly selected their plushies, many of which quickly became cherished keepsakes.

Later, at Learn to Crochet with Thread Bare, students gathered to explore the art of crochet. For many, it was their first time trying the craft, and the event provided a relaxed and welcoming environment to learn a new skill. Some people even discussed plans to continue their crochet projects beyond the event, highlighting the lasting impact of the session.

Wednesday, February 12 – Wellness and Connections

The Campus Wellness Fair offered students valuable insights into maintaining a healthy and balanced college life. Various booths provided information on mental health, physical well-being, and stress management. Students who visited at least six booths earned a chance to win prizes, while a candy jar guessing game added a playful touch to the educational event.

In the evening, Speed Friending encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones and build new connections. Modeled after speed dating but focused on fostering friendships, the event allowed students to meet peers they might not have crossed paths with otherwise. The fast-paced, lighthearted atmosphere made it easy for students to bond and share laughs.
