Love Letter: DSU the Perfect Match
When I was deciding on where I wanted to go to school, I was very nervous about adjusting to college life and the tougher classes. DSU stuck in my mind over the larger universities like USD and SDSU because of its smaller class size, campus, and community.
During the past 5 years, the thing I love most about DSU is its size. Many students complain about the lack of parties and so called “Greek life”, but I think students should appreciate the quaintness of DSU and Madison. Unlike bigger universities, the class sizes are smaller and feel more personal. I am on a first name basis with most of my teachers and there are many students who would say the same thing.
I also love how easy it is to get around DSU. It takes no more than a few minutes to get anywhere on campus. When living in the dorms, if you wake up five minutes before your class, you can still make it with time to spare. Unless you are a freshman, it is very rare that someone gets lost at DSU. Plus, the campus looks awesome during the summer when it is not snowing.
Thank you DSU for giving me a great education in a relaxing comfortable environment.
