Music Performance at DSU

On Sun, Apr 15, the Music at DSU  performed a concert highlighting their band and choir.

The band was the newly formed jazz band called the TroGin & Tonic Big band. They performed quite well in each of their songs, even featuring some of their members. They also had Justin Jungemann and Dominique Redlin join them to perform “Suit and Tie” by Justin Timberlake.

Afterward, the DSU Voices were up and these soloists were performing many different types of songs. One interesting bit was that Ryan Little wrote and performed his own song called “Rue”. It was fantastic along with the rest of the soloists each having their own spin on their solo.

Finally, the last section was the concert choir singing many different songs from musicals like Newsies, Wicked, and Hairspray. They even played an encore song of “All-Star” By Smash Mouth. This was a great fun for the audience and for the performers.
