DSU Student Senate Invites Students to March General Meeting

Students at Dakota State University will have the opportunity to engage with campus leadership during the upcoming Student Senate General Meeting on March 11 at 4:30 p.m. in the TCB Auditorium. The meeting, hosted by the Dakota State University Student Senate, is open to all Trojans and aims to give students a platform to learn more about campus initiatives and share their voices.

The event will provide an overview of the Student Senate’s role on campus and how it works to represent student interests. Attendees will also hear updates about several upcoming changes planned for the next academic year, including developments related to the General Activity Fee (GAF) and the Trojan Center renovation.

According to organizers, the meeting is designed to be interactive and student-focused. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss campus concerns, and share ideas directly with student leaders and university representatives.

In addition to updates and discussion, the meeting will offer students a chance to better understand how decisions affecting campus life are made and how they can become involved in shaping those decisions. Senate members encourage students from all majors and organizations to attend and contribute their perspectives.

Students interested in attending can RSVP through the QR code provided on the event flyer. Another QR code allows students to submit ideas or concerns ahead of the meeting through an online suggestion or complaint form.

With open discussion and direct access to campus leadership, the meeting aims to reinforce the message emphasized by the Student Senate: student voices matter at DSU.
